In May 2015 Alexander Sukhanov became the prize-winner of the Peter Slavtsov International Vocal Competition for Young Opera Singers and Theater Director in Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
The jury included Fiorenza Cossotto, Vladislav Piavko, Domian Iorio, Peter Dvorsky, Angelo Gabrielli, Makvala Kasrashvili.
The event was held at the Krasnoyarsk Opera House.
