Biography |
Laureate of international competition, baritone Alexander Sukhanov was born in Perm.
From 1988 till 1996 he studied at Chore School for boys in Perm.
In 2000 he graduated Perm Musical College with excellent marks, in 2005 — State Conservatory named after M.Glinka in Nizhniy Novgorod where Alexander Sukhanov got systematic vocal training. There his teachers were such vocal specialists as G.Struchkova, G.Korablev. Musical career of musician began in Chamber theatre of opera and musical comedy named after V.Stepanov where baritone was invited when he was a student of conservatory.
His repertoire includes opera arias, popular romances, folk songs and songs of Russian Soviet composers. In the period of his artist activity baritone prepared classical romances of M.Glinka, P.Tchaikovsky, S.Rachmaninov, G.Sviridov, and such opera parts as Onegin from «Eugenie Onegin» P.Tchaikovsky, Ebn-Hakia from «Iolanta» P.Tchaikovsky, Don Alfonso from «Cosi fan tutte» W.Mozart, Simon from «For seasons» J.Haydn.
In February 2008 Alexander Sukhanov became the soloist of Yaroslavl State Philharmonic Society. In our time the singer takes part in different performances and gives sole concerts.
